Wayne Lee HQ UTANG SALT LAKE CITY -- The Plans and Programs Officer for Headquarters Utah Air National Guard, Lt. Col. Cecilia Nackowski, concluded her 35-year military career in a formal retirement ceremony at the Utah Air National Guard Base Dec. 2. During the ceremony, amid family and colleagues, Nackowski was awarded a Meritorious Service Medal and was also presented with congratulatory letters from both past and present political leaders. Brig. Gen. Kenneth Gammon, Director of Joint Staff, praised Nackowski for her professional expertise. "Cecilia has always been a professional leader. In fact, she was my trainer when I was a new Sergeant. I know it's because of her I'm where I am today," said Gammon.
