An Air Force KC-135 E model aircraft is towed by personnel from the 309th Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group from the active flight line at Davis-Monthan Air Force base to the storage area.

Air Force KC-135 E model aircraft, tail number 0327 is towed by personnel from the 309th Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group from the active flight line at Davis-Monthan Air Force base to the storage area. The 50 year old aircraft was delivered to the group for long term storage at the 2,600 acre facility after serving with the 151st Air Refueling Wing, Utah Air National Guard for more than 20 years. The 309 AMARG is a one-of-a-kind specialized facility within the Air Force Materiel Command's 309th Maintenance Wing at Hill AFB, Utah. The 309 AMARG provides critical aerospace maintenance and regeneration capabilities for Joint and Allied/Coalition warfighters in support of global operations and agile combat support for a wide range of military operations.
