Airmen recognized for outstanding achievement

Six Airmen from the 151st Air Refueling Wing were awarded Utah Air National Guard Airmen of the Year 2009 during a ceremony on base May 2, 2010.

The Airmen were recognized for their outstanding performance in their work, for going above and beyond the regular duties assigned to them, and for their services within the community.

Brig. Gen. David M. Hooper attended the ceremony to present the awards to the Airmen.

Honorees for 2009 include:
Senior Airman Marc E. Crosby, 169th Intelligence Squadron, Airman of the Year;
Tech. Sgt. Kristie A. Tuero, 151st Communications Flight, NCO of the Year;
Senior Master Sgt. Sterling S. Poulson, HQ Utah Air National Guard, Senior NCO of the Year;
Master Sgt. Richard P. Miller, 151st Civil Engineer Squadron, 1st Sergeant of the Year;
Staff Sgt. Darin S. Martinez, 151st Maintenance Squadron, Honor Guard member of the Year;
Senior Master Sgt. Ruth Vogel, 151st Services Flight, Honor Guard manager of the Year.
